What size glasses and cups will the Straw Beri work on?

Straw Beri works by essentially wedging the straw and the glass/cup between the legs of the Straw Beri, in the manner of an old fashioned clothes peg. This means that the thicker the cup, the thinner the straw should be and vice versa. In practice, we've found that cups and glasses of thicknesses between 2mm - 6mm (about 1/16 inch - 4/16 inch) work well with most straws.

What size and type of straw can I use?

Most plastic disposible straws are between 4 and 6mm in thickness, and are the ideal straws to use with a Straw Beri. Hard plastic, reusable straws can also be used, and are best when using a thicker rimmed cup or mug. The hole the straw goes through limits the size of straw to be under 6.4mm (1/4 inch).

How do I care for my Straw Beri?

The best way to care for your Straw Beri is to wash it in warm soapy water after each use and store it somewhere out of direct sunlight, away from any sharp objects, and out of reach of small children.

Can Straw Beri or Flexi Straw be put in a dishwasher or sterilising unit?

Yes, Straw Beri and Flexi Straw can both be placed in either of these items, but we would recommend that you find a way of securing them to the wire trays in a dishwasher to avoid losing them!

How will my Straw Beri's be delivered?

We send most orders of Straw Beri's by Royal Mail, as a first class packet. Orders placed before midday are dispatched same day Monday to Friday, and the next working day if placed at the weekend. Large or Special Orders may be sent recorded delivery.

Can I buy a Straw Beri if I don't live in the UK?

Yes! Postage and Packaging to anywhere in the world outside the UK is £2.50 regardless of quantity*. Your Straw Beri's will be delivered by Airmail and should take between 3 and 5 days to arrive after dispatch.
*Please note that Large or Special Orders may be sent using a different service and may cost more to send.

How can I buy a Straw Beri if I don't want to buy over the internet?

You can buy Straw Beri's by sending us a cheque (don't forget to add postage) made payable to Such and Such Design Ltd. Please don't send cash in the post! We also attend several trade shows where you can buy Straw Beri's from us in person.

Are there any restrictions to using Straw Beri?

Yes. The Straw Beri is small, which means that it presents a choking hazard to young children. Children under the age of three should not be allowed to use or handle a Straw Beri without constant adult supervision.
